A ‘Bigg Boss’ game is being played in the BJP
Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera has mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement that Nitin Naveen is now his “boss” in party matters. Pawan Khera said that the BJP and RSS can keep playing games among themselves. Sometimes (RSS chief) Mohan Bhagwat becomes someone’s boss, sometimes Modi becomes someone’s boss. Referring to the popular reality show “Bigg Boss,” he further added, “Is a Bigg Boss game being played here?” Khera was asked about this development at a press conference in Delhi, where he said, “Where is the election? Why call it an election? First, they announce the president, then they say there will be an election, and then there is no election at all.” The head of the party’s media department, Pawan Khera, also sarcastically remarked that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar now wants to resign because he had no role in the BJP president’s election and did not get a chance to “influence” the election. Nitin Naveen was formally declared the national president of the BJP on Tuesday. He has replaced JP Nadda. When asked about this, Khera told reporters, “Where was the election? Why call it an election? You announced the president first and then said there would be an election, but there was no election. Gyanesh Kumar Gupta wants to resign in protest because he has no role, he couldn’t influence anything, he couldn’t manipulate anything.” He also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that Swami Avimukteshwaranand is shedding tears and the Prime Minister and BJP people are playing a ‘Bigg Boss’ game. Prime Minister Modi had congratulated Naveen on being elected the BJP’s national president and said that this young leader would be his ‘boss’ in party-related matters.
