Is anyone safe in Bihar? Opposition attacks Nitish government over hospital firing
RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday questioned the Bihar government, asking if anyone is safe anywhere in the state. A prisoner admitted to a hospital in Patna was shot by unknown assailants. In a post on Instagram, Tejashwi Yadav said that government criminals barged into the ICU and shot a patient admitted in the hospital. Is anyone safe anywhere in Bihar? Has this happened before 2005? Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya Sharma said that prisoner Chandan Mishra was out on parole on the basis of necessary medical care and was admitted to Paras Hospital for treatment, when unknown assailants barged into the hospital on Thursday morning and shot him. Independent MP from Purnia Pappu Yadav was prevented by the police from going to the spot. He said that I will request the Governor to impose President’s rule in Bihar. Nurses, doctors, no one is safe in Bihar. These leaders can do politics only on the strength of money. Pappu Yadav further said that criminals are selected on the basis of their caste, fake encounters are done. They protect those who fire bullets. There is no such thing as administration in Bihar. They give shelter to mafias… Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is not running the government. BJP is running the government. Congress MP Akhilesh Prasad Singh said that no one is safe in Bihar. Incidents of murder have increased during NDA rule. Crimes against women and children have increased.
