Chirag received death threats on social media, complaint lodged with police

Union Minister Chirag Paswan has received death threats from an Instagram user. This information was given by his Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) on Saturday. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) also shared a screenshot of the complaint lodged with the Cyber Police Station of Patna by Chief Spokesperson Rajesh Bhatt on its ‘X’ handle. Bhatt in his complaint cited the post of a person named ‘Tiger Meraj Idrisi’, who has threatened to “bomb” the Hajipur MP. The Station House Officer (SHO) has ordered an inquiry into the complaint matter. Bhatt has alleged that the user has shown “criminal tendencies” and seems to be “upset by the growing popularity of our leader”. In the post on ‘X’, the party urged the Central and State Government to ensure that the culprit is brought to justice and alleged that he is “a supporter of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)”. However, there is no mention of the opposite party in the police complaint filed by Bhatt.
