Vivekananda’s teachings still resonate in the heart of every Indian: Himanta

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday paid tribute to philosopher and thinker Swami Vivekananda on his death anniversary and said that his teachings still resonate in the heart of every Indian. Sharma said in a post on ‘X’, “Swamiji’s teachings still resonate in the heart of every Indian and his teachings ignite the spirit of a strong nation led by youth with spiritual consciousness.” The Chief Minister said, “My salute to one of the greatest saints of India.” The great spiritual leader, philosopher and thinker Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Kolkata and died on 4 July 1902. He is remembered for his unforgettable address at the World’s Parliament of Religions held in Chicago, America in 1893 where he presented India’s culture and tradition to the world with a strong image.
