Whenever the country moves forward, the Congress party sinks in sorrow, taunts Kiren Rijiju
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Thursday took a dig at the Congress party, saying that he has no cure for the main opposition party. He alleged that whenever the country moves forward, the Congress party sinks in sorrow. The BJP MP highlighted India’s development in the last 11 years and pointed out that India’s exports have increased from USD 50 billion to USD 800 billion. The Union Minister said that so much work has been done in 11 years that it is difficult to count the names of the schemes. We are moving towards complete self-reliance in all aspects and exports have also increased rapidly and exceeded USD 800 billion. When I was the new minister, we were importing almost everything. Our exports were not even USD 50 billion. If the Congress is sad when the country is moving forward, but the people of the country are happy, then I have no cure for them. Meanwhile, Union Minister Rijiju said that Lok Sanvardhan Parv is “an important program.” He said that the program has been started with the aim of bringing the skills in the villages to the market and giving them a platform to showcase their products. This will also help in bringing the products of different states to each other. To commemorate the completion of 11 years of the government with empowerment, inclusion and cultural pride, the Ministry of Minority Affairs is organizing Lok Sanvardhan Parv from June 11 to June 15 at Birsa Munda Lawn, Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat in the national capital.
