Integrated government offices to be built in Mathura and Kanpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while stressing on the need to establish all district and divisional level government offices in Mathura and Kanpur in the same complex, directed that integrated complexes be constructed in both these cities. The Chief Minister reviewed the ‘Vision 2030’ plans prepared for Mathura-Vrindavan and Kanpur metropolis on Thursday. According to a statement issued by the state government here, the Chief Minister said that suitable chambers for advocates, proper parking arrangements, food courts and other civic amenities should be provided in these integrated government office complexes. The Chief Minister said that such complexes will not only increase the ease of administrative work. At the same time, the common people will also get relief from the problem of circumambulating many offices. Regarding Mathura-Vrindavan, the Chief Minister said that in the last 50 years, this area has suffered the brunt of unplanned development and heritage erosion. The movement of crores of devotees every year puts heavy pressure on traffic and public facilities. Long-term city planning is needed to deal with this.
