Do you know the importance of two pinches of sindoor Modiji? Sanjay Singh takes a dig at BJP

AAP leader Sanjay Singh launched a scathing attack on the ruling party led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and criticised the BJP’s alleged door-to-door sindoor campaign. He called it a cheap political stunt and dubbed it the ‘One Nation, One Husband’ scheme. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has denied media reports claiming that the party is going door-to-door to distribute sindoor. Sanjay Singh said, “Do you know the importance of two pinches of sindoor Modiji?” In a post on X, Sanjay Singh said that in Indian culture, women apply sindoor as a symbol of longevity, respect and well-being of their husbands. It signifies pride, dignity and deep emotional meaning. But now, after pushing schemes like ‘One Nation, One Election’ and ‘One Nation, One Leader’, the Prime Minister has launched ‘One Nation, One Husband’. The AAP leader questioned whether this campaign means that all the women of the country are being asked to accept Prime Minister Modi as their husband. He questioned, “What kind of mentality is this? Will all the women of the country now accept Prime Minister Modi as their husband? How long will the BJP continue to do cheap politics in the name of Operation Sindoor and how long will it continue to sell it?” He further said, “Four Pakistani terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack have not been traced and PoK has not been taken back yet. The Indian Army had the upper hand and could have taken back PoK or even liberated Balochistan, but the Center opted for a ceasefire under pressure from Donald Trump. And BJP workers are now going door to door distributing sindoor without considering the feelings of Indian women.” Singh said, “Have you thought about the feelings hidden behind this tradition? Do you understand the importance of those two pinches of sindoor, Modiji?” He said that this is not just a political gimmick, it is an insult to women. Indian women will apply sindoor for their husbands, not for any political leader. Please stop this attempt to misuse our traditions for politics. Earlier on Friday, the Congress unit in Kerala also attacked the BJP and shared a poster of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the words ‘One Nation, One Husband’ written on it.
