NITI Aayog’s 10th Governing Council meeting chaired by PM Modi, target from developed state to developed India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog on Saturday. According to the official statement, the meeting will focus on the states and aims to make India a developed nation by 2047. The theme of the meeting is ‘Developed India for Developed State @ 2047’. Apart from this, CMs of many states including Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi and others have started arriving at Bharat Mandapam, the venue of the NITI Aayog meeting. This will be the first major meeting of the Prime Minister with the Chief Ministers of all states and union territories after Operation Sindoor. It is worth noting that Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will not attend the 10th meeting of the NITI Aayog Governing Council held in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A source close to the Chief Minister said that the Chief Minister is not boycotting the meeting, but he already has a program in Mysore. The source said the chief minister has sent his address to the Governing Council of Niti Aayog to New Delhi. He, however, did not clarify who will present Siddaramaiah’s address at the meeting. In line with his commitment to take all states together as ‘Team India’ for a developed India, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will chair the 10th Governing Council meeting of Niti Aayog on May 24, 2025. The Governing Council meeting will discuss the Developed State’s vision for a Developed India @2047, Niti Aayog said in a statement.
