Akhilesh Yadav targeted the BJP government over the Pahalgam attack, a result of intelligence failure

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav termed the Pahalgam terror attack as a failure of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s central government. He accused the BJP of giving priority to propaganda instead of solving important issues. Along with this, he demanded financial assistance of Rs 10 crore and a government job to the family of each victim of the terror attack. Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yadav said, ‘This (Pahalgam attack) is the failure of the government. This is the result of intelligence failure. There was no proper security there and the army could not reach there. Now people are also talking about Pulwama along with Pahalgam. Regarding the all-party meeting held on this issue, he said, the party has said what it had to say in the meeting. I cannot say much about this. You can ask the Chief Minister (Yogi Adityanath) why he is talking big on this issue.’ The SP chief alleged that the people of the government are not giving constitutional rights, reservation is being tampered with and the motive of not giving jobs is to simply not give reservation. He claimed, “Political interference in education has increased a lot.” Yadav said that the most unsafe environment for young women is in Uttar Pradesh and the government’s statistics are telling this. He said that the people of the party and the youth brigade will explain to the public the way education has been privatized.
